A Tailwind of many stories at the Six Foot Track Marathon

The old saying, "If it was easy everyone would do it" or "it's called work for a reason." It all starts with one action and the showing up. So whether you day went to plan, you it didn't and you had to fight to find that finish line. A few were effected by things that were out of their control. You started you showed up and had a good on an unforgiving course and race that is Six Foot Track. The cut off is tough. But you towed the line and had a crack. So hold that head up high and celebrate that achievement. Take that fight into the next challenge, use to encourage and impower yourself. Never stop trying - dream big, my 3 D’s - desire, determination and discipline, the only limitations are the ones you set yourself.

Some good training this week for the squad. A different mix of 400's and tempos on the Tuesday. Settling in at One Tribe Fitness for the new strength session venue. The Monday Nights and Friday Mornings have kicked off this week, so looking forward to those commencing, adding to the Wednesday mornings, offering the team a little more. Thursday session was mix with the girls in the AM and the boys in the PM were punished on the hill repeats while the Six Footers had an easy jog.

This week we are on the program - Tuesdays speed work with 800's and Thursday Trails is a specific circuit for tempo's. Sunday long run will in Wakefield for a few longer tempos included.

Look out for the posts on socials in regards to the UTA training weekend and the Mt Buffalo Running Experience.
